Sperry have invested in the development of a modular inspection system that can be used as a basis of manual and in-line ultrasonic, eddy-current and EMAT NDT systems.
The system known as MEIS (pron. mice) supplies all the operator controls and equipment interfaces. It provides real-time analysis and can create a-scan, b-scan and c-scan displays.
It allows complete auditability of the test process by recording all calibration, operator adjustments, raw data and events with each set of product test results.
